The 95th Birthday of Her Majesty The Queen Premium Birth Year Sovereign Set was issued by The Royal Mint in 2021 to honour the remarkable 95-year reign of Queen Elizabeth II. Limited to just 95 sets worldwide, this extremely scarce pairing unites a brand-new 2021 Proof Sovereign with a 1926 Birth Year Sovereign struck during the reign of King George V.
The 2021 sovereign is a special commemorative issue, featuring a unique “95” crown privy mark beside the date and an edge milled 95 times, one for each year of Her Late Majesty’s life. It was struck in 22-carat gold to the highest proof standard and features Benedetto Pistrucci’s classic St George and the Dragon reverse with Jody Clark’s fifth definitive portrait of Queen Elizabeth II on the obverse.
Accompanying it is an original 1926 George V sovereign from the Pretoria Mint in South Africa, marked with the distinctive “SA” mintmark - a fitting nod to the Queen’s year of birth.

Returns Policy

If an item is returned for reasons other than being not as described, return postage will be the responsibility of the buyer.
