About this collection
A Completer coin is the finale of a Royal Mint heraldic beasts series: a single design that brings every beast from the series together for the first time. The name comes from collectors rather than The Royal Mint, but it's how the coins are known across the trade, and it's why they are usually the most sought-after release of their series.
The Royal Tudor Beasts Completer, 2027
The 2027 coin closes The Royal Mint's five-year Royal Tudor Beasts series. Its reverse, by David Lawrence in collaboration with Historic Royal Palaces, sets all ten heraldic beasts from the Moat Bridge at Hampton Court Palace in a protective circle around a raised Tudor rose. Five represent King Henry VIII and five his third wife, Jane Seymour. The obverse carries Martin Jennings' portrait of King Charles III.
Every coin in this range is supplied boxed in original Royal Mint presentation packaging, which tells the story of each beast, with a certificate of authenticity.

The Queen's Beasts Completer, 2021
The coin that began the tradition. The 2021 Completer closed The Royal Mint's Queen's Beasts series by uniting all ten beasts that stood guard at Queen Elizabeth II's coronation in 1953, and it set the pattern the Royal Tudor Beasts finale now follows.

Why is it called the Completer?
It completes the series: it's the only coin to show every beast together. The Royal Mint doesn't use the name officially, but collectors and dealers do.
