2021 Queen's Beasts Completer 1oz Gold Bullion Coin – Pre-Owned
This is the eleventh and final release in The Royal Mint's hugely popular Queen's Beasts series — the "Completer" coin, and the only design in the entire collection to bring all ten heraldic beasts together in a single piece. At Queen Elizabeth II's coronation in 1953, ten statues of mythical creatures stood guard at the entrance to Westminster Abbey, each representing a strand of royal ancestry. Over the following years, The Royal Mint issued a coin dedicated to each beast individually; this 2021 release, designed by Jody Clark, unites all ten in a protective circle around an effigy of the Queen herself.
Clockwise around the design: the Lion of England, the Red Dragon of Wales, the Griffin of Edward III, the Unicorn of Scotland, the Black Bull of Clarence, the Falcon of the Plantagenets, the Yale of Beaufort, the White Lion of Mortimer, the White Horse of Hanover, and the White Greyhound of Richmond. The obverse carries Jody Clark's fifth definitive portrait of Queen Elizabeth II.
This coin is pre-owned. As a bullion-standard release, it was never supplied with a box or certificate — Royal Mint bullion coins are issued loose in a protective capsule only, unlike the boxed proof versions in the same series. It is in genuine bullion condition, with light handling marks — primarily to the Queen's effigy on the obverse — consistent with a coin that has been in circulation among collectors. It has not been graded or certified by a third party.

We offer free insured delivery across the UK on all orders. Every coin is carefully inspected, securely packaged, and sent using Royal Mail Special Delivery - a fully tracked, next-day service that requires a signature on receipt.
All parcels are shipped discreetly and fully insured for peace of mind.
We currently do not ship internationally. Orders can only be delivered to the UK address provided at checkout, and we’re unable to send to PO Box addresses.

Returns Policy

If an item is returned for reasons other than being not as described, return postage will be the responsibility of the buyer.
