Struck to mark the coronation of King Charles III at Westminster Abbey on 6 May 2023 — the first British coronation in seventy years — this one-ounce silver proof coin is the precious-metal silver equivalent to our existing gold PF70 listing of the same design, offering the same historic significance at a more accessible price point.
The reverse, designed by Royal Mint artist John Bergdahl, presents a new interpretation of the Royal Arms: a crowned shield bearing the individual arms of England, Scotland and Northern Ireland, surrounded by laurel branches, with the inscription "THE CORONATION OF KING CHARLES III · 6 MAY 2023". The obverse carries Martin Jennings' first-ever crowned coinage portrait of King Charles III, shown wearing the Tudor Crown and facing left — the first time a British monarch has been shown crowned on UK coinage since the 17th century. The King personally approved this design ahead of release.

Returns Policy

If an item is returned for reasons other than being not as described, return postage will be the responsibility of the buyer.
